My friend and I started a freelancing site. That was running on a forum and it was took over by spam so I shut it down. There is not a good freelancing software package out there that is Open Source. I wanted to suggest either you point any further development towards a freelancing software package or that a port be made for this purpose. I think that this would become a very very popular program if you did so.

I have been searching for several months for such software and When I saw PhpJpbSite in it's current state I said "This is it It is heading in the direction I need."

What license is this software falling under?

I am currently working on a mod to the resource.php to ad google adsense block at the top of the page. Will share my results. I am not a php programmer I can usually perform minor mods like this but not a lot more.
I am an old school FoxPro/DOS programmer that can create software in Visual FoxPro if I have too.

What I would like to see first would be a place to enter an adsense id in the setup and have it placed during install. I would think that this is a fairly easy mod. Just add the field in install then the code to resource.php with the variable and make it fit in at the header somewhere.

I am Bernie and only use open source software for my websites. I have installed this software at my freelancing site and would love to see a few changes so that I can get this site going. The above is a good beginning I would also like to see an internal email system instead of having to post my email address for the spammers to get.

Thanks you for this great software and I hope we can keep it going and take it to it's full potential.

This software is licensed under the GNU v2

great ideas, by the way!  I will begin re-development right now.  Hopefully, I'll have a re-worked version for you by tonight.

Jon,

I know you said you would be working but here is another suggestion.

How about a list all Like the delete jobs where it lists the one line per job but without the delete that way a user can look at all jobs and see what is there without having to look in all the different locations and categories.

actually, I'm working on that already. I'm completely re-coding it from the ground up.  It's quite the overhaul. The only thing being left alone is the layout (I'm a coder, not a designer).

Well quite frankly I loved the design and so does my partner from that site.

It is simple yet elegant.

We love the software and it has ended at least a 6 month search for usable software for that site.

I will of course be thrilled to start testing the software for you.
